Cadillac first used the advertising tagline “Standard of the World” in 1908. The phrase was powerful and precise, encapsulating the cutting-edge technology, unparalleled luxury, and unmistakable style found in every car that wore the Cadillac badge.
This week marked a new beginning for the Standard of the World, as Cadillac delivered the first hand-built CELESTIQ ultra-luxury sedan to its owner. CELESTIQ embodies the ultimate expression of General Motors technology, performance, refinement and innovation – an all-electric icon, each example built to the exacting tastes of one individual client.
The first CELESTIQ was delivered in a private ceremony at Cadillac House at Vanderbilt – the state-of-the-art facility where clients can curate their vehicle and consult with a Cadillac designer to create an entirely unique CELESTIQ to fit their tastes and desires. The event marked the beginning of a bold, ambitious new chapter in Cadillac history – one that will be written with every CELESTIQ we build.
