The 2025 GMC HUMMER EV pickup is an electric thrill ride. In 3X trim, it packs three electric motors, and with Watts to Freedom engaged, it cranks out up to 1,000 horsepower – enough to blast from zero to 60 mph in approximately 3.0 seconds1. It also offers a GM-estimated range of 367 miles2, and it’s ready for any terrain – whether you’re rock-crawling off-road or eating up highway miles with available Super Cruise3 driver assistance technology.

To understand the HUMMER EV, you really have to drive it. So that’s exactly what I did.

In our latest video review on the General Motors YouTube channel, I hop behind the wheel of a 2025 GMC HUMMER EV Pickup 3X to get firsthand experience driving this powerful, capable machine.

I’m joined by my buddy Justin, who grabs the passenger seat and helps me perform acceleration, braking, and turning-radius tests at the airstrip to understand the outrageous performance of this all-electric HUMMER. Then I hit the road to get a feel for this powerful, poised pickup in everyday driving. And we dive into the history of HUMMER, from its military roots to the “moonshot” project that brought the all-electric HUMMER EV to life.

Authoritative performance, amazing comfort, jaw-dropping capability, and unmistakable style. That’s what you get in the HUMMER EV. Check out my full video review below, and don’t forget to like and subscribe for the latest from GM on YouTube.
