The GMC Sierra EV AT4 powers the world’s hardest game of golf
2025-11-06
Imagine a golf course where your longest, straightest drive only gets you a baby step closer to the pin. That’s what our friends from Good Good faced when they set out to play the hardest game of golf ever: The Great American Golf Adventure. And it was all possible thanks to the all-terrain capability of the GMC Sierra EV AT4 electric pickup truck.
For a round this epic, a standard golf course wouldn’t do. Good Good was challenged to a jaw-dropping five-hole monster course in the wilderness of Wyoming. From the first tee to the final pin, this course measured 6,000 yards – more than 3.4 miles in total, longer than some 18-hole courses.
The Sierra EV AT4 is the ultimate adventure truck, and the team at GMC worked with Good Good to bring the most challenging golf course to life. As the most capable and extreme golf cart, the GMC Sierra EV AT4’s pickup bed served as the tee box, outfitted with a slide-out platform complete with artificial grass. Each pin stood on a mobile green so far away it could barely be seen. The holes ranged from 800 to 1,300 yards long – meaning Garrett, Brad, Mo, Bubbie, Alexis and Marissa from Good Good would need to crush it on every swing.
On the rocky, hilly, untamed terrain of Wyoming, the GMC Sierra EV AT4 brought everything the Good Good team needed for this never-before-attempted golf adventure. The off-road-ready, all-electric pickup truck packs two-motor four-wheel drive, cranking out up to an available 760 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque in Max Power mode1. Beefy 35-inch tires, height-adjustable suspension, and Terrain Mode made sure the GMC could take these golfers wherever the ball landed. And thanks to 4-Wheel Steer with CrabWalk2, the Sierra EV AT4 is super maneuverable in tight spaces – perfect for lining up the next tee.
The Great American Golf Adventure was a monster, taking a full day to complete. But thanks to the GMC Sierra EV AT4, the crew was able to power through to the final pin. And at the end of the day, the crew leveraged the Sierra EV’s available Energy Transfer Pro system to power their campsite.
