Chevrolet Traverse High Country trim gets a glow up

Building on the next-generation 2027 Chevrolet Silverado High Country unveiled in June, the 2027 Traverse High Country is a modern, athletic and contemporary evolution of the brand’s three-row SUV. High Country is aptly named, as it sits at the top of Chevrolet's trim line and represents refinement and sophistication.
The Traverse is on the rise, with sales up 20 percent in the second quarter of 2026, notching the model’s best-ever first half. Proving an SUV can be premium and practical without sacrificing room or advanced technology, the Traverse High Country is teed up for a banner 2027.
Emma Mikalauskas, Lead Creative Designer for Global Chevrolet Crossover & Performance, says her goal was to ensure the High Country earns its status at the apex of the lineup. Part of that included exploring new and improved options while maintaining the theme of the badge name itself: by definition, a place called "high country" is something elevated. The peak. The summit. The pinnacle. For Chevrolet, that's manifested in warm colors that evoke mountain trails.
"The High Country trim has represented a premium traditional feel featuring brown hues and bright chrome," Mikalauskas says. "As we see Chevrolet evolving, we're adding more modern touches like rich marquetry wood decor or energetic pops of color and warmer finishes."
Highlights of the 2027 Traverse High Country include:
New Tritan Satin finish on the grille and headlamp accents, updated badging, and 22-inch high-gloss black, machined-face aluminum wheels.
High-quality, rigorously tested interior materials, including Jet Black seats with Natural Tan accents, Natural Tan edged seatbelts, debossed headrests, and real wood décor.
Standard interior camera that enables Cabin Glance , which provides the driver with a focused view of the second and third rows in the center screen; and Security Recording, which (when enabled) automatically records the exterior and interior cameras when a theft alarm is triggered on the vehicle. Just add a USB drive to save and access video recordings whenever you need them.
In addition to the 2027 Traverse, the latest High Country treatment will be available on the next-generation 2027 Chevrolet Silverado.
