From award-winning vehicles to cutting-edge motorsports engineering and an iconic Chevy anthem reimagined for 2026, General Motors is everywhere this week.
On the Factory ZERO floor, Group Leader Chelsea Zenk is known for calm, steady leadership in General Assembly – and off the clock, for her commitment as a competitive synchronized figure skater. For 16 seasons, she and her Evolution Synchronized Skating teammates have trained, traveled and competed across the Midwest, applying the same focus, teamwork and continuous improvement she relies on in manufacturing.
Speaking of a commitment to excellence, Episode 5 of What Makes Fast goes inside the Cadillac Formula 1® Team’s work on a single – but critical – component: the front brake duct. Designed to help manage brake temperatures that can exceed 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit, these ducts must meet tight FIA regulations while delivering precise cooling and aerodynamic performance. The team taps advanced simulation, 3D-printed prototypes and the expertise of more than 500 people to bring each part from sketch to the starting grid.
In commemoration of the kind of enduring excellence of some of America’s favorite brands, Chevrolet is inviting drivers to “See the USA in Your Chevrolet” with a new campaign debuting during the 2026 Winter Olympics. Rising country artist Brooke Lee brings a fresh take on the classic jingle from the bed of a Silverado ZR2 perched atop Utah’s Castle Rock, with additional scenes showcasing Corvettes, Trax, Traverse and Equinox EV models in iconic locations across the country. It’s a celebration of real adventures, real people and the vehicles that help them get there.
But what’s even better than us celebrating our achievements? Others noticing the same: Car and Driver named 16 GM vehicles to its 2026 Editors’ Choice list, recognizing standout products across segments and price points. From the Chevrolet Trax and Colorado to the Cadillac LYRIQ, OPTIQ and VISTIQ, plus the GMC Canyon and Yukon, the roster reflects a portfolio that spans affordable to luxury and internal combustion to EV powertrains.
